Luther's Mountain
Luther's
Mountain plays bluegrass, gospel, old time favorites
and original songs.
The band members are from the west Atlanta area including
Dallas, Rockmart and Waco, Georgia. Ron, Peggy, Randy
and Ben have known each other for many years as they
are members of the same church. They started practicing
together in March 2007 and formed a band that is now
known as Luther's Mountain. Dewayne joined the band
April 2008.
Come

Dewayne
Baggett
mandolin
Dewayne
was born and raised in Tallapoosa, Georgia. He started
playing music when he was 18. Dewayne played bass guitar,
guitar, and later mandolin. He has always enjoyed playing
bluegrass. His favorite picker is Doc Watson. For mandolin,
he likes to listen to Norman Blake.
Dewayne
not only plays the mandolin, but makes them as well.

Ron
Cline
banjo, guitar, mandolin, vocals
Ron was born in California, and raised
in Georgia. Ron played in 2 rock 'n roll bands in high
school and college. Then came many years working and raising
children with occasional times spent playing music for
family. In 2005, Ron began playing music a lot more. He
started writing music in 2006. Ron's musical inspirations
are Alison Krauss, Bill Monroe, John Hartford, and Earl
Scruggs.
Ron has put out 2 CD's (Coming
Home to You and
Songs for Evan) and has a new CD coming out
late 2008.

Randy
Link - guitar, vocals
Randy was born and raised in California. The Lord watched
over him during seven years of Military service in the
Army and he now finds Georgia his home. He had many different
musical influences while meeting different troops and
people from around the Country and World. Bluegrass has
really intrigued him and he can't seem to get enough.

Ben
Miner - bass
Ben
can keep a beat and enjoys playing the bass. He enjoys
spending time with his family and is involved with his
church. His musical inspirations are his Dad (Dave Miner),
Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and John Paul Jones. Ben
got a new stand up bass for Father's Day in 2008 and is
thrilled.

Peggy
Cline - back up vocals
Peggy has lived in Georgia her whole life. She enjoys
art, music, animals and family. She was in her high school
Chorale and took piano and guitar lessons as a child.
Peggy sings back up vocals for the band and is an art
educator by day. She also does the band website. |

Maggie
Hall - Guest Artist - vocals
Maggie
is a guest artist with Luther's Mountain from time to
time.
Maggie
has been surrounded by music ever since she can remember.
She sang growing up with my family, school, and church
community. She picked up the acoustic guitar when she
was around 15 years old, and has been playing and singing
ever since then. She loves to play old folk, bluegrass,
and gospel music, and also writes her own songs which
bring together all her experiences, beliefs and passions.
